Lynn Burns

Belinda A. (Lynn) Burns, CPA, JD, CFP, is the owner of Burns Tax Consulting, LLC. She has more than 35 years of experience advising individuals and closely-held businesses on tax matters. Prior to opening her own business, Lynn was a member of the private client advisor team with Deloitte.

Lynn serves as Treasurer of both the Family Service Association and SICSA. She is a member of The Dayton Foundation’s Development Committee and chairs Dayton Children’s Planned Giving Advisory Committee.

Karen Crim

Karen Crim CPA, is the Senior Director, Tax Services for Nonprofits at RSM US LLP.

Karen specializes in tax services to not-for-profit organizations and private foundations. Among the clients she serves are community foundations, colleges and universities, long-term care facilities, social services organizations, private foundations, and charitable trusts. During her more than 30 years in public accounting, she has assisted not-for-profit organizations and foundations with a variety of issues such as obtaining and maintaining tax exemption, unrelated business income tax, intermediate sanctions, alternative investments, ASC 740 (FIN 48), and private foundation excise taxes. Karen also provides income, estate, and gift tax services, including charitable gift planning, for business owners and high net worth individuals.

Mike Parks

Michael M. Parks became the third full-time President of The Dayton Foundation in March 2002. Mr. Parks currently serves with other regional leaders on numerous area projects and initiatives. These presently include The Community Asset Board - Greater Dayton Conference on Youth, Dayton Business Journal’s Nonprofit Industry Advisory Board, Dayton Mayor’s City of Learners Committee, Greater Dayton Commission on Minority Inclusion, Learn to Earn Dayton Board of Directors, Minority Business Partnership, Montgomery County Preschool Promise Advisory Board, the Dayton VA Fisher House Steering Committee and Up Dayton Community Advisory Council. He serves as the chair for The Dayton Region New Market Fund Board. He was, also, recognized as the 2015 Outstanding Fundraising Executive by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Dayton.

Sam Warwar

Sam Warwar is a shareholder for the Coolidge Wall Tax Department. He has over 30 years' experience assisting clients with IRS controversies (examinations, appeals, litigation, and criminal tax matters) as well as advising and representing buyers, sellers and investors with business transactions and acting as general counsel to businesses, nonprofit organizations and families.

Sam represents public and privately-held businesses, partnerships, nonprofit organizations, hospitals and other health care organizations on issues related to corporate organization, corporate structure, corporate governance and contract negotiations. Sam's accomplishments include recognition in Best Lawyers in America® (1993-2017), and receiving the honors of Ohio Super Lawyer (2004-2016), Best of the Dayton Bar, Top 50 Dayton/Cincinnati Lawyer and Top 100 Ohio Lawyer.  Sam also received the special recognitions of Best Lawyers ®  2011 Dayton Tax "Lawyer of the Year" and Best Lawyers ®  2014 Dayton Litigation & Controversy - Tax "Lawyer of the Year."

Frank H Scott

Frank has been serving high net worth clients in the Dayton area for over 35 years. As a Senior Investment Advisor he advises his clients on their risk tolerance, translating that information to managing their portfolios.
